Parents are becoming increasingly concerned as we have found out that Stow Schools uses CASEL Social Emotional Learning and Second Step curriculum. I've been told that transgender students use bathrooms that don't correspond to their biological sex.

"Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools should revise its American History curriculum to focus more on the role that race and racism has played in the country's formation and evolution."
At Dinner and a Fight (Dialogue), hosted by Stow Collaboration for Change, in partnership with Fighting to Understand and the City of Stow's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative, we'll discuss the following:

Stow-Munroe Falls is at it again. At yesterday’s board meeting it was stated they are following Title IX federal regs regarding pronoun use. District is requiring pronoun use stating it’s the law. The changes have not been implemented yet.

First reading of policy was last week. This change is for all school employees - faculty, staff and administrators. This is already an employee right. Why is there a need to put this in board policy? It’s performative activism. The Board recognizes the employees’ right to dress with their gender identity.
My child came home with these bookmarks. She was told it was dropped off by Stow Mayor John Pribonic.
