Social Emotional Learning is in Springfield City Schools
"I cannot give you any materials but, I sat through a School Board mtg, where they forced me to sit in a totally different room, and watch from a outdated screen with horrible sound. They wouldn't allow me their notes, even though they passed out papers to everyone inside the room where the mtg took place. They spoke about what and how they could implement Social Emotional Learning, about spending the extra covid money on a building where they can place social workers, counseling, and nurses to 'help' the lower income families, even though we already have such facilities.They are pushing hard to introduce the emotional agenda. The Superintendent was talking it up like he cares for these kids minds, like all parents are abusers, like the school needs to step in and help emotionally.The entire board mtg, where some teachers were present, the super spoke as matter of factly, like it's his agenda regardless of what anyone else thought."
