Date: Mon, Feb 6, 2023 2:44 pmTo: "tips@protectohiochildren.net" <tips@protectohiochildren.net>Subject: Erase the space invitesNew Albany students in a school sponsored club were repeatedly invited by the club advisor who is on staff as a social studies teacher to participate in a program titled” erase the space. “When administration was questioned regarding their support of racist activities and programs that seek to inform students of false racist ideas such as systemic racism against blacks and white privilege, they stated that New Albany did not officially participate in this program. Within a day the teacher communicated to the students that this program was not “erase the space” but just a pen pal writing activity between students at New Albany and at white hall.When a parent asked which time the teacher was lying- when he called it, erase the space or when he said it was never erase the space- The only response was that the teacher will be calling the program something else that participation was voluntary, and that it was not erase the space.So basically, another way administrators and educators in central Ohio, are pushing their CRT agendas is through teachers “advising” school clubs.

Our school board has a very clear controversial policy but the administrators are not following it and are using semantics like "any topic can be controlversial, its all in how its presented and we are presenting this topic (recognizing october as lgbtq+ month including a video recognizing legal "advancments" in US for this group) in a neutral, innocuous way. " (not directly quoted, but very close).

A Mom who has a child at New Albany Middle School in the 7th-8th grade drama class reports:
The teacher asked the students to introduce themselves and state their preferred pronouns, and also give their preferred name and if we should use that name in front of your parents, because “we don’t want any oopsies."
*This tip implies that teachers are keeping information about transitioning students from the parents.
