Middletown City School Board voted to spend $109,000 for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion“Make It Plain Consulting proposes to deliver a series of live, skills-building equity, diversity, and inclusion training sessions and general culture coaching services with District Leadership and Staff. The sessions will be delivered in-person. The interactive training sessions will integrate findings from 2020-2021 Systemic Equity Assessments and Strategic Plan, as well as concepts in equity and diversity broadly defined to include personal biases, preferences, ethnicity, culture, class, race, gender, gender identity, orientation, language and ability.”“ i.e. Implicit Bias & Microaggressions, Stereotype & Stereotype Threat, Cultural Competence & Cultural Humility, Bias Incident Interventions, Diversity Recruiting, and Cultural Change”
