At Elida High School in Lima Ohio, in November a girl went to use the restroom and there was a boy dressed like a girl in there. She felt uncomfortable and left. Parents have met with the superintendent and board members. They dont agree with it but are afraid of being sued. We learned 60 parents showed up at a board meeting this past summer to ask them to change their policy as this is wrong. Most of these parents were from the middle school as this is happing in that building also.  They refused. Every girl should feel safe to use the restroom at school. Elida is compromising the safety, privacy, wellbeing and religious beliefs of all students. You can imagine all the possible problems that could happen including to the trans. A simple resolve would be to have a trans student use the restroom with their biological sex or use the family restroom which our school has
