Fairborn City Schools

Tip received 5-18-23: I know a high school teacher at Fairborn high school who is a new teacher. He is a health education teach at Fairborn High school. He said he refuses to inform parents of the sex education curriculum when that is being introduced during the school year. He said it is too much work to deal with parents trying to review material before it is taught in the classroom. He also said he doesn't want to deal with offering alternative lessons to students because parents object to the material. He said it is too much work.
He said his department head "has his back" if any parents complain.
This action is in violation of school board policy and state law.
