This is being circulated throughout the halls and classrooms in Elyria High School right now. And there's a lot to unpack here.
1. Elyria City Schools are absolutely dreadful. Out of 607 ranked school districts in Ohio in 2025, Elyria finished #580. Let that sink in.
2. Rather than using valuable instruction time doing, you know, instruction...the administrators and teachers' unions are spending that time teaching these kids be good little activists and anarchists.
3. This "walkout" isn't student-led. It's administration-led. It's teacher-led. How do we know? Because when is the last time you ever heard a STUDENT complaining about "improper funding for public education"! The ONLY individuals who know or care about school funding are the administrators and teachers' unions, because it impacts their salaries and their budgets. No student has EVER said to a friend, "We should do a walkout! The voters in our district are just not funding us properly! Let's show 'em!"
4. The level of performance by Elyria's schools is evident in the flyer they are passing around the student body in the high school. Simple punctuation and knowledge of plural and possessive nouns is embarrassingly evident in the language. Event leaders "speech's" ??? Pre-approved by "administrator's" ??? How embarrassing. If you're going to teach these kids to be radicals, teach them to write properly first.
5. The biggest issue is the fact that the dangerous, Marxist-indoctrinators in charge of this district and its classrooms are teaching the kids that rules and laws are optional. When you send kids outside to protest law enforcement, you are telling them to side with the lawbreakers. You are telling them that authority figures outside should be ignored--or even worse, obstructed. How are you going to expect them to follow school rules in the halls and classrooms when you are teaching them to ignore the rules that govern our streets and communities?
I wonder how many kids in Elyria's horribly-performing schools know how many violent criminals, including murderers, rapists, child molesters, human traffickers, drug traffickers, gang members and terrorists have been apprehended by the ICE agents that they are being instructed to protest. Probably zero. How many innocent American kids like them are NOT going to be abducted or harmed BECAUSE of the officers and agents they are going outside to protest, directed and influenced by the adults in their lives that are failing them.
