Responsive Classroom has been a part of our school district for 17 years and now they have created a program called Fly Five. Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School is the guinea pig for their newest program. We only have access to this program online, and keep being told they are required to implement it. Chagrin Falls Exempted Village Schools are teaching these issues separately and not integrating them. They have specific lessons for children during the day, which take away from the core curriculum. Since February, I have personally noted children at the elementary level have missed 7 total hours of core curriculum to be taught SEL standards the Principal and administration deems appropriate.
