CRT has been promoted and incorporated into professional development over the past several years. Last year the author Ijeoma Oluo, was hired to provide professional development to staff and the staff are required to read her book, “ So You Want to Talk About Race”. Additionally, Dr. Hasan Jeffries, a professor from The Ohio State University has also presented to the district staff and parents multiple times. He also regularly promotes the CRT doctrine.
The staff at Bexley high school have been informed the 2021-2122 school year will focus on critical gender theory. Although they did not label it as a critical gender theory that’s what we’re preparing for.
